OR is a minimal daily choice journal. This policy explains what information the app may store and how it is used.
Information We Collect
- An anonymous generated user identifier created on the device
- The date of app installation
- The user's daily A/B selections
- Notification preference settings
- Selected language preference
How We Use Information
- To keep the app working across launches
- To remember the user's daily history
- To optionally sync basic app data
- To remember language and notification settings
- To send optional local reminders when notifications are enabled
Local Storage
Some information is stored locally on the device. This includes daily choices, settings, and install-related app state.
Remote Storage
If sync is enabled in the current app build, OR may send a generated anonymous identifier and daily selection records to a hosted backend service in order to store basic app data.
Notifications
OR can send optional local notifications to remind the user to check the daily question. Notifications are disabled unless permission is granted by the user.
Data Sharing
OR does not sell personal information and is not designed to share personal data with advertisers.
Data Retention
Data remains on the device unless removed by deleting the app or clearing device storage. If remote sync is enabled, anonymous usage records may remain on the backend until deleted by the app operator.
Your Choices
- Disable notifications at any time
- Delete the app to remove locally stored data from the device
- Contact the app operator for privacy-related requests
Children's Privacy
OR is not intended to collect sensitive personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version should be made available from the app listing or support site.
